Drill a 10mm diameter hole to approximately 55mm deep, remove loose drilling dust and insert the plug fully before fitting the screw.
Recommended Screw Size
For downpipe clips and similar light-to-medium fixing applications, these plugs are suitable for use with 5mm diameter screws. The final screw length should allow for the thickness of the item being fixed as well as adequate engagement through the plug.
