Front Door Surrounds - Georgian and Victorian Styles

Front door surrounds offer two distinctive architectural styles to enhance entrance aesthetics and complement different property types and design preferences. The flat top version, known as the Georgian door surround, provides clean, symmetrical lines that reflect the classical proportions and understated elegance characteristic of Georgian architecture, making it ideal for properties seeking a refined, formal entrance presentation. Alternatively, the pitched top version represents the Victorian style, featuring the distinctive angular roofline that adds dramatic character and period authenticity typical of Victorian-era design sensibilities. Both architectural styles utilise identical side pillars, creating manufacturing efficiency and installation consistency while allowing the top treatment to define the overall design character. This shared pillar system ensures structural uniformity and simplifies inventory management while providing flexibility in style selection based on architectural requirements or personal preferences. The Georgian flat top style suits contemporary and traditional properties where clean, horizontal lines are desired. In contrast, the Victorian pitched top creates a striking visual impact, perfect for period properties or new builds seeking historical character. Whether enhancing an existing entrance or completing new construction, these door surrounds provide professional finishing that frames the entrance attractively while adding substantial curb appeal and architectural definition to any property's most important visual focal point.
Installation
There is some flexibility on the sizes during installation. The pillars can be slid slightly to fit the existing door opening; detailed drawings are provided in the product details. The height is also adjustable. You can trim the pillars with a fine-tooth saw on a flat surface, taking care at the end of the cut not to snap the side you wish to keep. If the standard pillar height is too low, you can buy add-ons to extend the pillar height.
Delivery
The products are made to order and, as such, are non-returnable. Delivery is usually around five working days but may take longer in peak season.
