Roof Vents and Roof Ventilation
We have a full range of the most used roof vent products all designed for easy installation and to be very cost-effective from over fascia to built-in designs. It has never been so easy to ventilate your roof.
Roofline Slate Vent 600mm x 300mm
Designed for easy fitting with all slate sizes, the 600mm x 300mm avoids the need for cutting upslope slates. All Corovent slate vents are supplied with a 110mm dia. Spigot for pipe termination as standard. This can be cut back to provide full 10,000mm² ventilation.
FEATURES
Careful design ensures the slate roofline vent is virtually invisible from the ground. A box below the vent collects any water that enters it and ducts it back onto the roof
Economy Slate Vent With Pipe Adapter
The COROVENT Economy Slate Vent is manufactured from long-lasting injection moulded polypropylene that gives a matt slate grey finish. Use at low, mid or high level on pitches down to 200. The COROVENT HP1 pipe adaptor assembly should only be used with 600 x 300mm slates. HV1 / HP1 both provide a 7, 200mm² ventilation area and an integral 4mm insect screen. Can be cut to 500mm x 250mmwo versions to give either 10mm or 25mm continuous ventilation, depending on the requirements of Building Regulations. They fit over the rafters above the wall plate and can be nailed or stapled to the rafters
Over Fascia Vents
Over Fascia Vent 10mmThe OV10 has a unique low profile design with an overall height of 16mm, for minimum disruption to eaves detail, and allows a 10mm air gap. Matches FV10 in all other respects
Over Fascia Vent 25mm The FV25 is extremely strong, resists the weight of tiles, and crushing of foot traffic whilst the roof is being finished. Ideal for use on all slate or tiled roofs.
Continuous Rafter Tray (Rollout)
The Harcon continuous rafter tray has recently been redesigned in line with roofers' requests. Typical roll formed rafter trays easily flatten and stretch, reducing the ventilation path. The Harcon continuous rafter tray uniquely solves this problem by incorporating structural profiling which dramatically improves rigidity, so a full 25mm air path is guaranteed down the line of the roof.
The width of the RT66 rafter tray has been increased to 400mm, significantly wider than most roll formed rafter trays, and the RT132 rafter tray has also been introduced with a width of 800mm. These rafter trays will cover 200mm of insulation at a minimum pitch of 300 (RT66) or 150 (RT132) and will provide increased tolerance of rafter tray positioning at steeper pitches or with thinner insulation: see diagram below. Note: As the thickness of insulation increases to comply with recent regulation changes particular attention should be paid to this area of the roof.
Ubbink Eaves Trays Protection
Ubbink roof vent eaves protection system sold in 900mm lengths with a bird stop for use with tiles that have scrolls that will allow the birds into the roof eaves This is an effective bird protection system. They also act as felt support trays perfect for new build or refurbishment projects.
Information
The sections have watertight joints and raised fixing points where the screws go to the joints which also act as expansion joints for a trouble-free life. A perfect product to use with breathable roofing felt or to renovate an existing roof where the edge of the roof felt has perished.
Fits on top of the fascia board and under the roof felt to provide 10mm of continuous roof ventilation. No bird stop so it is suitable for use with flat roof tiles or slates. There is also a version with a bird stop added to the top. This product has been around for over thirty years Ubbink is a major trusted brand amongst UK roofing companies and is often specified by architects. This is probably the best invention for roofs for a very long time.
