Fascia boards finish the front edge of the roof, while soffit boards close the underside of the eaves. White uPVC offers a clean finish without the regular repainting associated with timber.

Choose fascia boards, soffits and compatible finishing pieces as a system. Corners, joints, nails and ventilation need to suit the boards and the way they will be installed.

Sizes, thicknesses and profiles vary between products. Check each product’s specifications before ordering. If you are unsure which parts go together, our Bristol team can help you prepare a list.

Cover boards fit over existing sound timber. They are not a way to cover rotten or structurally unsound fascia. Full replacement boards are thicker and are intended for use when the existing timber fascia is removed. Ask your installer to check the condition of the timber and the support needed before choosing.

Solid soffits give a flat finish. Vented soffits include openings for airflow. Your roof’s ventilation requirements determine which system is suitable, so check with your installer before ordering.
