Ilkley canopy fitting instructions
1. Drill through the bottom flange of brackets, and also at 400mm centres along the flange which runs along the bottom between brackets.
2. Position the bottom canopy section centrally above the opening, and ensure that it is level.
3. Mark holes on the wall and lifts the canopy down.
4. Drill & plug fixing holes, into a solid brick.
5. Secure the bottom section to the wall.
6. Drill the top upstand of the top section of the canopy at approx 400mm centres.
7. Lift into position on the secured bottom section and mark holes on the wall.
8. Lift top section down, and drill & plug marked holes.
9. Apply silicone along the mating flange of the bottom section, and lift top section into position.
10. Fasten to the wall.
11. Wipe down the canopy to remove dust, using warm soapy water.
Your Ilkley canopy will give years of maintenance-free service, and simply requires an occasional wipe with warm soapy water.
NB Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvent solutions to clean this canopy.
