The 919 is designed for old-style door panels up to 6mm thick that might still be in use on some older garages or sheds They are sometimes required on some internal doors. The body of the pet door has been designed so that tunnel extensions can be used to form tunnels to go through walls that are thicker the optional tunnels can be used to form a tunnel of any length as required
