Top Fix Rafter Bracket
These brackets are installed during the roofing process they simply nail or screw into the top of the roof joist before the roof coverings are added. They are easier to fit than other brackets due to easy access.

How far apart do you put brackets for guttering?
Rise and Fall gutter bracket spacing needs to meet the needs of the type of gutter used.
Materials
Steel brackets are galvanised to reduce rusting to ensure a long life span.
Universal
Top fix brackets are universal, and any guttering fixing bracket can be used with them. The spike bracket will carry half-round square and deep flow and some types of ogee gutter but not all.
Rafter top brackets come in 300mm and 240mm versions.
How to fit rise and fall gutter brackets?
Brackets are screwed into place in the side of the joist or from above with the top fix version; the front of the bracket has a slot for a bolt that goes through the gutter bracket you use. Supports spacings still need to follow the recommended spacings as required with the gutter system you use. Start by doing the highest end first, then set the lower end to the required fall. Stretch a string line across these two brackets and fit the rest of the brackets up to the string line.
