110mm White Soil Pipe System

This professional-grade system is manufactured in PVC-U (unplasticised polyvinyl chloride) to British Standard specifications.
If you are replacing an old soil stack pipe, a careful assessment will help you identify the equivalent plastic components needed. Most fittings from old cast iron or asbestos pipes have direct plastic equivalents available. While our best fitting ranges are available in grey or black, white offers a sensible range for most applications, with some specialised parts available in black.

Important Installation Note
These pipes are made of heavy-duty construction. We recommend installing pipe clips at maximum 1m centres, with the principle that too many clips is better than insufficient support.

FloPlast socketed soil pipe incorporates advanced blown-end technology. The easy-fit rubber seal is securely held in place via a circular plastic insert, ensuring seal retention during transport and creating a perfect connection for joining.
All push-fit plastic soil pipe fittings feature captive seals and a snap-cap design engineered for user-friendly installation. The design eliminates sharp edges and accommodates space restrictions for easy connection. The double-ribbed seal and recessed socket design provides space for the rubber seal location as pipes are inserted, forming high-capacity pressure joints.
Installation Guide for White Soil Pipes
Planning Your Installation
Proper planning ensures efficient installation and optimal system performance. Follow these professional guidelines for best results:
- System Testing: Install and test the complete system in accordance with BS EN 1610:1998 standards.
- Base-Up Installation: Start the new soil stack from the base and work upward for proper alignment.
- Bracket Preparation: Mark bracket positions and drill/fix screws before erecting the pipe system.
- Support Spacing: Fix pipe or socket brackets at intervals of no more than 2m for vertical runs and 1m for horizontal runs.
- Expansion Allowance: Leave 10mm clearance inside each fitting to accommodate thermal expansion and maintain straight alignment during temperature changes.
- Depth Marking: Soil fittings with spigot ends should be inserted to the depth mark engraved on the spigot to ensure correct expansion allowance.
- Expansion Joints: Incorporate expansion joints every 4m to accommodate building movement and thermal expansion.
- Seal Lubrication: Use silicone lubricant on all seals to facilitate easier jointing and ensure proper sealing.
- Access Points: Include suitable access points and branch bends to enable system testing and future maintenance.
